While working on Google’s Fitbit team, our founder, Sho, uncovered a surprising issue: despite Japan’s high standards of craftsmanship, finding high-quality bedding in Japan wasn’t easy.
Even luxury brands didn’t always live up to the expectations, and globally renowned premium, natural fabrics such as silk and Egyptian cotton were rare in Japan, leaving customers with few truly great bedding choices.

Determined to change the status quo, NELPANDA was born with a clear vision: to create better bedding and bath essentials with the highest quality, yet without the price markup.
Alongside a team of textile experts with generational experience, we pour our hearts into curating every product, from the first stitch to the final touch, ensuring the highest quality in every piece.
